8月15日上午，牟平区图书馆尼山书院第86期亲子故事会成功举办。图书馆儿童阅读推广人志愿者安东尼老师给小朋友们带来了英文绘本《The very hungry caterpillar》绘本，本期亲子故事会共分为两个环节！
第一个环节——安东尼老师为小朋友们讲述精彩绘本故事
绘本内容简介：
In the light of the moon, a little egg lay on a leaf.
月光下，一颗小虫卵躺在树叶上。
Do you see the egg?
你看到虫卵了吗?
Its here, on the left side of the book.
它在这里，书页的左边。
Looks like a little white dot.
看起来像个小白点。
And on the right side, we can see a huge moon looking at the little egg.
在书的左边，有个大大的月亮正在看着小虫卵。
On Sunday morning, the warm sun came up and-POP! out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar.
星期天早晨，暖暖的太阳升起来了。啪的一声，虫卵里钻出来一只又小又饿的毛毛虫。
Look, the little caterpillar is creeping toward to sun.
看，小毛毛虫正往太阳的方向爬去。
Its a green caterpillar with a red face.
这是一只绿色红脸的毛毛虫。
The sun is smiling at it, too.
太阳也在冲着小毛毛虫微笑。
Lets say good morning to the hopeful world, little caterpillar.
小毛毛虫，我们一起向这个充满希望的世界说声早安吧。
He started to look for some food.
他开始找吃的了。
On Monday he ate through one apple. But he was still hungry.
星期一，他吃穿了一个苹果，但他还是很饿。
Do you like apples?
你喜欢吃苹果吗?

You always take a bite at the apple and spit it out.

The next day was Sunday again.
下一天又是星期天了。
The caterpillar ate through one nice green leaf, and after that he felt much better.
毛毛虫吃了一片新鲜的树叶，之后他就感觉好多了。

树叶上有几个孔?

是的，有五个孔。
Now he wasn hungry any more -- and he wasn a little caterpillar any more. He was a big, fat caterpillar.
现在，他再也不饿了--他也再也不是只小毛毛虫了。他成了一只大胖毛毛虫。
Look, the caterpillar puts on weight now.

第二个环节——玩游戏，进行情景剧表演
从《好饿的毛毛虫》绘本中，孩子们从中能学会不少东西：认知；数数；学会星期一到星期天；了解毛毛虫是怎样做茧，又怎样成蝶的；学习不同食物的量词；懂得东西吃多了肚子会痛，吃绿色蔬菜更好。
好的绘本会在平静中传达一种积极健康的力量，会培养孩子更高的审美品味，会给孩子内心埋下美好的种子，潜移默化的影响他们的将来。成功的教育不是让孩子拼命地跑着向前，而是让他在向前的过程中遇到挫折会坚持不懈。这本书告诉我们，哪怕是一只小小的毛毛虫，也能变成美丽的蝴蝶，更何况是我们的人生呢。
